Admission in the school is strictly made as per the Govt. rules and guidelines given by the C.P.O./GRC and Sr. D.P.O./KGP. some main points are as follow.

1. Admission is open for the wards of Railway employees only. Notification is given in the month December/January. The Normal age for admission in the Class I is 6 years (31st March in the Academic Year)

2. Admission in Classes II to IX and XI is made according to existing vacancies. in these classes, applications are invited from the serving railway employees if the​ vacancy exists. Notice for this purpose is given in advance on the school notice board. Admission is granted preferably to students of English Medium background.

3. During admission, parents have to show original Birth Certificate of the child and submit xerox copy of the same.

4. In case of migration for another state, the (T C) transfer certificate must be countersigned by the competent authority of the state otherwise admission will not be granted.

5. Guardians are requested to fill in the admission form with utmost accuracy as no change is the name of the student father's name and date of birth is permitted

6. ​Transfer Certificate will be issued to a child (a) on receipt of an application of withdrawal from the parents/ guardian or (b) found guilty of indiscipline or misconduct.

7. Application for withdrawal of student should be submitted within 15 days of publication of the result to avail the exemption of Student Development Fees
